About this listen

Kevin Federline: dancer, father, accidental pop culture icon. His star rose electrifying stages alongside Pink, Destiny’s Child, Aaliyah, and more. But it was his turbulent marriage to pop superstar Britney Spears that made him a household name and triggered a relentless media storm, reducing him to a caricature in a world that barely knew him.

Behind the tabloid headlines was a devoted father fighting for his children and his sanity, navigating the fallout of fame and a fractured family, as everything around him spun out of control. From the heights of global stardom to the pain of public ridicule, this memoir peels back the layers of celebrity, fatherhood, and survival to reveal the man behind the mythology.

A man shaped not by spectacle or spotlight, but by love, resilience, and the steadfast resolve to give his kids a normal life. What you thought you knew was only half the story.

He says a lot of negative things about himself which makes me think it is genuine.

Seems like he is being honest

Enjoyed this from Kevin. Appreciate him telling his story. But it lacked depth, it was more like a long interview. I didn't feel immersed. I also feel he glossed over some things. But definitely worth a listen.

Entertaining but lacking depth

This is clearly a honest story. It breaks my heart for what Sean Preston and Jayden have been gone through for years with the free brits movement people who harassed them online, especially after what they’ve already been through with their mother. Kevin sounds sincere and genuine.

Honest

I debated whether I wanted to get this book because I had preconceptions about Kevin, but I thought I would get it and listen with an open mind. I’m glad I did. I’m glad that he decided to write this, especially knowing how many people would react to it. He deserves, like every person, to tell his own story, and he did so with compassion and also showing growth and self-reflection. It feels honest, and it was written and narrated well enough to keep my attention all the way through. I recommend this to anyone who is willing to listen to his perspective, because there is definitely more to understand here than the story that’s been told up to this point.

Balanced and self-reflective

Comes across as really grounded and genuine. Seeing Britneys decline and relationship with her kids these days I believe his story

A really good read
