Summary

Brought to you by Penguin.

Karen M. McManus, the internationally bestselling YA thriller author of One of Us Is Lying, returns with You'll be the Death of Me - prepared to remain on the edge of your seat!

Skipping school is fun . . . until someone gets murdered.

Ivy, Mateo and Cal used to be close - best friends back in middle school. So, when Cal pulls into campus late for class and runs into the others, they decide to ditch school. Just like old times.

But they’re not the only ones skipping school that day. When the trio spot classmate Brian ‘Boney’ Mahoney acting suspiciously downtown, they follow him into an empty building, and walk straight into a murder scene.

Now that their day of freedom has turned deadly, it’s only a matter of time before the truth comes out . . .

Another brilliant book by Karen. McManus. The plot has been really thought to give an engaging read. I'd highly recommend this book and the authors previous books to others.

Likable characters with good narration. The ending however dragged on a little long but overall still very likable story.

Great easy listen

I loved this book apart from the plot twist I thought I was unexpected yes but also I thought it was quite random and irrelevant but it was not at all bad I loveddddd this book very much and I would 100% recommend it to some one else. What I did like about this book was the story and the way they built it up and I did really the the final plot twist I thought that that was very clever and interesting. Xxxxx

The way it pulled you in so deeply

I really like all of Karen McManus’s books but I found this one a little less engaging than some others. I found that the characters were not as likeable as the other books. The plot was good but a bit less realistic than most of her books.

Would still recommend though

Good but not the best in series
