Wow! I was beyond happy seeing this book was available on Audible as I’ve always admired Chris Appleton. I myself came from the midlands and moved to London working my way up in high fashion but during Covid had a mental breakdown that left me so shattered, I’m only picking up the pieces now at 36 (sorry to include my life in this review) but I was honestly not expecting this book to be as moving as it was, listening to this has made something click inside me that I can find myself again. Chris talks us through his life and what he’s learned in such a beautiful and strong way that you instantly feel empowered and inspired. A working class boy from humble beginnings that deserves every bit of success that has come his way, he has faced some traumatic experiences but does not let it define him and brings us along for the heartfelt moments with himself, his family and also the fun adventures.
