I’ve got the print copy too (in fact I have a stack of them to hand out as Christmas/birthday presents, I think it’s that great).

So why only 4 stars?

These aphorisms would be better absorbed with perhaps a 5-second pause between each one. Much of the time, they’re read one after the other without pause, and bleed into each other when they shouldn’t. It hinders your ability to reflect on them. Bit of an own-goal. But it is delivered with Darby’s signature whimsicalness.

Brilliant book! Too short, but…it’s what makes it so good! I absorbed all the words of this book! I wonder if there’s going to be another one soon! Who knows…

Insightful, funny and comforting to listen to. In times of doubt, this audiobook brings calm and gives you a laugh. Darby has a relaxing voice too which adds to the relaxing experience. Highly recommend.
