Summary
For Kyle Puckett, Earth has become a savage place. As the world continues to decay, the survivors of the viral plague have started choosing sides. With each encounter the stakes - and the body count - continue to rise. With the skies growing darker and the dead pressing in, both sides may soon find out that there is No Way Out.

This is the first book and I have listened to in this series and as it was book 3, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to connect with the storyline or characters. However, it is such a well written storyline, I did not experience this issue,
The narration was excellent and really helped me get into the book.
The book is about a few groups during a zombie apocalypse and how they are linked and seem to be destined to come crashing together.
I enjoyed listening to this book so much that I will buy books 1 & 2.
Excellent listen

Intense!

The new performer completely changed the way the characters and story flowed for me. He made the main character (plus the rest) seem more 'happy' and less seasoned. Perhaps a bad way of explaining it. The performer simply rushes words so fast and high pitched that I am sure they are misinterpreting the context of the words. I have had to slow the speech down to 0.90x just to try make it sound better.
Good book, not a fan of the new performer
