About this listen
Katia was introduced to tango as a young girl through her mother, who runs a dance school in Kazan, Russia. While it was not love at first sight, she was later inspired by a performance by Dana Frilgoli and Adrian Ferreyra in St. Petersburg, and came to study with them at DNI Tango in Buenos Aires. She now runs a dance school, La Fuente Tango, with a family of teachers she trained and studied with. She shares her tango journey and the choices she made along the way.
Notes:
Intro & outro music: Buscándote (Osvaldo Fresedo, 1941)
