Summary
Creative Minds Unpacked - A podcast for divergent thinking
Episode 1 with Emmy Broomfield and Kate Cox
Creative Minds Unpacked is a podcast for creative people who are Neurodivergent or who dare to think boldly. It’s a tool for strategies and support; a safe space to pick apart the complexities of life; a place to share lived experience and stories of feeling and thinking differently. Breaking out of the boxes and unpacking our minds as we move forward into brand new times.

Kate Cox - Creative Producer and host.
I’m Autistic and have ADD so come with a lifetime of lived experience of struggles, intense emotional responses, vibrant thoughts, anxiety and diverse processing styles.
I’ve organised and developed many unique visionary projects, from areas at festivals and events like Boomtown, Green Man, Worcester Victorian Fayre and Nozstock, to running Worcester Paint Festival - an event celebrating Street and Graffiti art culture.
I am passionate about supporting others to explore themselves, and work as a Creative Lead at Pershore Riverside Centre, with youth and SEND provision, and am on the team for The Curiosity Museum, a playful careers tool.
I like talking, and following on from a successful ‘Develop Your Creative Practice’ grant from Arts Council England in 2025, I am shifting my career to encompass more public speaking and mentoring, especially focussing on creative people who are Neurodivergent, or who dare to think boldly.
