About this listen
This week we're changing things up a bit. We're challenging each other to some self-care activities/ideas to implement so that we can really get into the barriers that clients face when this comes up in therapy. Lots of times we notice that clients don't follow through with their own, or collaborative, ideas or goals to care for themselves so here's to taking a closer look at why that might happen.
Plus, I (Kay) go down a rabbit hole (cue the ADHD brain) that might be very interesting to you. It definitely was for me. I have been so excited about learning this about myself and the way it's impacted my life. Seriously. This has changed so much for me. If you have ADHD you may be fascinated and want to do your own research.
As always, we are not doctors and we recommend you speak with your own doctor before starting any new medication or adjusting your exercise/nutrition significantly.
