Summary

I recorded this episode on Easter Sunday, in our living room here in France, right after a bike ride. There was one thought that kept coming back, and it wouldn’t leave me alone: I see too many photographers waiting.

Waiting for more clarity. For someone to confirm they’re on the right track. Until they feel “ready.” At the same time, I see others who skip that part entirely and just begin, who commit without guarantees because they feel it matters.

That difference fascinates me. And it runs through this entire episode.

This is about passion and obsession, about what it takes to truly carry your work, and about believing in the impact you can make before there’s any proof. I connect that to what I’ve seen in recent weeks, conversations that stayed with me, and insights from the masterclass with Mark Mahaney.

He spoke about asking for help, about daring to be visible, and about training the muscle that keeps moving you beyond doubt.

If you feel like you’ve been holding back or going in circles, this episode might shift something. And if you want to hear how someone at that level approaches the craft and built their path, you’ll be able to watch the replay of the masterclass with Mark Mahaney here.
