David Grubbs è musicista, compositore e studioso statunitense. Figura centrale nella ridefinizione dei linguaggi del rock sperimentale dagli anni Novanta, in gruppi come Red Krayola, Gastr del Sol, Bastro e Squirrel Bait. La sua attività si colloca all’intersezione tra composizione, improvvisazione e pratiche transdisciplinari, ed è stata presentata in importanti istituzioni museali internazionali.
