About APORIA: Space for the Unspoken

APORIA is a Greek word. It describes a kind of moment —

when you think you know something, and then discover you don't.

Not confusion. Something deeper than confusion: the first time you've truly stood in front of that thing.

You may have felt this —

reading a sentence, feeling something loosen inside you, and then nothing remains.

making a decision you can't explain, and that unexplainability never quite leaves.

watching an ordinary scene, feeling something deep move through you, and then it passes, and you go on with your life.

Those feelings are not a malfunction.

They are the things inside you that haven't yet been touched, trying to speak.

This is not an attempt to fully articulate them.

Only to leave a little space for what hasn't yet found its voice.

  • #3 You Don't Need Falsehoods to Be Deceived—Half-Truths Do It Better.
    May 31 2026

Lies are easy to resist because they feel wrong. But half-truths slip past our defenses — they resonate, they speak to something real, and then they stop us from asking the next question. The most insidious toxic positivity isn't false; it's just incomplete. I've learned to watch for the sentence that sounds wise but somehow makes my thinking contract instead of expand.

    May 31 2026

  • #2 You Killed Yourself on the Treadmill (and Called It Health)
    May 29 2026

You rise, you sit, you train, you sit again. A rhythm as hypnotic as a lullaby. You call it discipline. Your spine calls it a cage. The gym is a bright spot in a gray landscape — but the landscape remains gray. The small victory of an hour does not redeem the defeat of the other twenty-three. Great health is not a highlight reel. It is a complete rewriting of how you move through your days.
