Operation Highjump was a military expedition carried out by the United States under the leadership of Admiral Richard E. Byrd in 1946–1947.

According to this theory, Operation Highjump was not solely a scientific mission to study climate and geology, but also aimed to search for and map Nazi bases and technological secrets that were allegedly moved to Antarctica after World War II. Theorists claim that the expedition encountered resistance from advanced technology protecting hidden Nazi bases beneath the ice.

It is claimed that information about this secret conflict has been concealed and that evidence of a Nazi presence in Antarctica has been systematically suppressed. Proponents of these theories argue that Operation Highjump was a failed attempt to uncover and confront this Nazi presence, and that its true purpose has never been revealed to the public.
