After making the connection to Simatoi and Kenya, the journey well and truly begins with support increasing for Memusi school. It is then a work course that gives the next almighty push!

Back in the UK, through persistence and many knock backs, Matthew finds a route to be able to make a difference. The first yes multiplying the impact of that moment on the side of the road many times over.

During Chapter 2, Matthew talks about the first trip to Kenya and Tanzania and the experience of breaking down in Tanzania - which was the springboard to the whole life changing journey. What had been a 5-star holiday had turned into something much more.
