In this powerful sermon, Apostle Gregory Kelley teaches that believers can be filled with the Spirit and still live ineffective lives when they fail to walk in the authority God has given them. There is a difference between hosting the presence of God and actually moving in spiritual authority. Many believers have allowed their inner flame to be dimmed by partial surrender, spiritual confusion and distance from the Word of God. The Holy Spirit is not limited in power, but He is often limited by our permission.
Apostle Kelley highlights three major barriers that prevent believers from living a Spirit-filled life: a lack of surrender, a lack of spiritual identity and a disconnection from the Word of God. When surrender is missing, we try to experience the fullness of God while still holding on to pieces of ourselves. When identity is unclear, we live beneath the power God has already placed within us. When the Word is absent, our spirit grows silent and our authority weakens. This message reminds us that authority is rooted in awareness. We cannot walk in what we do not understand, and we were never called to live like spiritual tenants when God has made us owners through Christ.
