About this listen

What Does It Mean to Be Bold? A lot of people think boldness is for other people. The people who seem more confident. More qualified. More spiritual. More ready. But that’s not how God works. Throughout the Bible, God calls ordinary people to do extraordinary things. A shepherd boy became a king. A fisherman helped build the Church. A persecutor became a preacher. A carpenter’s son became the Savior of the world. Boldness is not about having no fear. It’s about saying yes to God even when fear is still present. The Be Bold For Jesus Podcast is here to highlight real people living that out every day. From pastors and ministry leaders to business owners and everyday believers, these are conversations that will challenge your faith, strengthen your walk, and remind you that God still uses ordinary people who are willing to obey. Because boldness doesn’t start on a stage. It starts with a yes. Will you say yes?© 2026 Be Bold for Jesus Christianity Spirituality

He is the “KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.” I am looking forward to one day meeting Him face to face on the other side of eternity. And until then, I am going to tell everyone in the world about Him.”

  • Interview with Keith Carpenter of Epic Life Church
    Jan 31 2024

Listen to the Be Bold for Jesus Podcast to be encouraged, inspired and empowered to go out and share your faith with others. Today we are hearing from Keith Carpenter.

Keith is the Pastor of Epic Life Church in North Seattle, which he planted in 2009. He has been married for 32 yrs, with four sons, one daughter-in-law, and a granddaughter. Keith leads a pastor network in North Seattle of 23 churches and is highly engaged in the business district of Aurora Ave. N. in the NORA neighborhood, and has led Epic Life in starting a for-profit coffee business-as-mission, a food bank, and a non-profit organization that leads the neighborhood in bringing life to the community, called For North Seattle.

Pastoring in North Seattle along the Aurora Corridor has been a daily challenge as Epic Life engages with marginalized people, crime, homelessness, prostitution, and businesses of ill repute. This challenge is also instrumental in a very diverse community of believers.

Keith also leads ministry trips into southern Peru, coffee-origin trips to Nicaragua, and prayer Hikes through western China’s Tibetan region in places where the Gospel has never been heard and there are no existing Christian witnesses.
