  • Starting in Fourth Form - What It's Really Like
    Jun 16 2026

Welcome to our school podcast. If you’re joining us this September, this episode is especially for you. Starting somewhere new can bring a mix of excitement, curiosity and perhaps a few nerves, so this episode is all about helping you feel ready for what’s ahead.

In this episode, we hear from Santino and Lily, two pupils who are just coming to the end of their first year. Not long ago they were in your position, starting out and finding their way, and now they’re sharing what school life is really like from their perspective.

They talk about their experiences over the past year, including their highlights, what surprised them and what they were worried about at the beginning and how those worries quickly faded. They also share honest advice for new starters and the things they wish they had known before their first day.

This episode is designed to give you a clearer picture of what your first few weeks might feel like while building your excitement and confidence about joining us.
