    With Duke set to participate in its sixth straight NCAA Softball Championship and host the Durham Regional (May 15-17), we visit with one of the most potent bats in the Blue Devils’ explosive offensive attack - shortstop Jessica Oakland. The former Big Ten Player of the Year at Minnesota made a seamless transition back on to the field after sitting out last season as a midyear transfer and is one of the key reasons Duke is one of the top 10 hitting teams in the nation. We also have a conversation with former Duke football offensive lineman Brian Parker, selected in the recent NFL Draft by his hometown Cincinnati Bengals, with his perspective on the Blue Devils’ 2025 ACC championship and the long process of getting ready to launch a pro career.

We also visit with new Duke football assistant general manager Preston Pehrson for some perspective on modern-day roster construction, and we present an interview with Duke president Vincent Price from the ACC Tournament that focuses on some of his favorite university initiatives as he looks ahead to his third term in office. The calls of the month put a wrap on basketball season with some of the best moments from consensus national player of the year Cameron Boozer.
