Brinten Comeau, a Nova Scotia–based rugby player and aspiring sports management professional, shares her journey into the sport and her development as a high-performing athlete. With a background in ringette, both as a player and now as an active referee, Brinten talks about expanding her career internationally, by playing rugby in Bath, England and gaining valuable experience in a competitive environment. She reflects on the importance of adaptability, resilience, and stepping outside her comfort zone in her growth. As she prepares to return to school to pursue her master’s degree, Brinten also discusses her long-term ambitions in rugby, including her goal of representing Team Canada, and her commitment to contributing to sport through coaching and officiating.
