A finales de 2025, el Sello Editorial del Instituto de Patrimonio Cultural presentó el libro Bogotá encubierta (Cartofonías 1957–2025), una investigación de Luis Daniel Vega y Umberto Pérez que recorre casi siete décadas de portadas de álbumes y otras imágenes musicales que retratan a Bogotá: un archivo vivo que a partir de sus cartofonías —combinación de cartografía y sonido— también sirve como método para perderse por la capital y así redescubrirla. Santiago Cembrano, editor web de Gaceta, habló con Vega y Pérez sobre este proyecto.
