This month, CLASSICAL VIBES is taking a lid back approach and spinning a random selection of music to soothe your listening ears. We will be hearing everything from a classical cover of a classic pop song, film music, symphonies, overtures and sonatas, with composers from all over.

This month, CLASSICAL VIBES is heading down into the Lair with DJ Fox to do a special Spectrums of Classical Jazz Vibes show a.k.a. JAZZICAL VIBES!

We are doing an extra long 3-hour deep dive into the liminal space where classical music and jazz collide.

Jazz is all about improvisation so who really who knows where the show will go! What’s certain is that there will be epic rhythms, deft handwork and a sprinkling of mayhem.

CLASSICAL VIBES is featuring all kinds of ANIMALS.

We will feature bats, sheep, trout, swans, elephants, wolves, dogs and cats, mice, ant, grasshopper, skylarks and two horses!

In a slight change to the original plan, today’s show will be celebrating awesome women composers. Breaking through the male-dominated world of classical music we discover the unsung heroines of classical music. Frome Hildegard von Bingen to Florence Price and Debbie Wiseman, we are making a space for female composers to flourish.

And for those who were looking forward to Spectrums of Classical Jazz Vibes in collaboration with DJ Fox, it will be coming up in May instead.

CLASSICAL VIBES is here playing another random and eclectic selection of this and that with no particular theme. We will be meandering through many well known composers like Mozart and Rachmaninov, plus hearing some 2026 Grammy winners and interesting modern composers.

This month CLASSICAL VIBES is undertaking a major modernisation - we are doing an entire show of classical covers - classical music that has been covered, recomposed or reinterpreted by a modern band! There will be many genres from disco, jazz and rock, to rap, reggae and EDM. This is classical music as you have never heard it before!

This month’s CLASSICAL VIBES is bought to you straight from the DANCE FLOOR featuring a selection of dance music that will make you cut some epic moves in the mosh pit!
