My guest today, Janet Swink, is a mother of four. She started a nursing career, where her natural gift of compassion and caring unknowingly prepared her for future unforeseen challenges.

Janet faced the heart-wrenching journey of witnessing her young daughter slowly succumb to a rare genetic disorder called Sanfilippo Syndrome. Regrettably, there’s no cure for this syndrome, resulting in the tragic slow death sentence for helpless children.

Driven by heartbreak and anger, Janet turned to God asking, “Why?” She shares the wisdom that helped her navigate this devastating time in her life. The profound lessons she imparts in this episode are a testament to the transformative power of faith during such a horrific journey. Amidst her pain, God performed a miracle in the life of young Rachel, forever touching the lives of everyone around her.
