• If Every Decision Feels Like a Lot… This Is Why
    Apr 28 2026

If you’ve ever sat down to do one task… and ended up going in circles, second-guessing, or putting it off altogether, this episode is for you.

In this episode, I’m breaking down what’s really behind that constant mental load so many studio owners are carrying… decision fatigue.

Because it’s not that you don’t know what to do. It’s that you’re making too many decisions, too often, without a clear structure to support you.

And that’s what’s slowing everything down.

    Inside this episode, I cover:

    • Why even simple decisions start to feel harder than they should

    • How decision fatigue is keeping you busy but not moving forward

    • The difference between operating your studio and actually leading it

    • Practical ways to reduce daily decision making and free up your energy

This is a simple but powerful shift that will help you think clearer, lead better, and move your studio forward with more intention.

If you’re ready to simplify, streamline and scale… this is a great place to start.

In this episode, I walk you through five simple things to check in your studio before May. Not from a numbers or strategy perspective, but from a human one. Your team, your families, your students, and your own energy.

This is about noticing the small things that impact how your studio feels day to day. The areas that, when they’re slightly off, can quietly affect retention, culture, and connection.

If things have felt a little busy or messy lately, this is your opportunity to pause, reset, and step into the next season with more clarity and intention.

  • The Shifts I’ve Made That Are Changing Everything
    Apr 14 2026

In this episode, I share a few quiet decisions I’ve made this year that are changing everything, including stepping away from industry events.

Not because they aren’t valuable, but because I’ve shifted. The way I think, lead, and choose where I spend my time and energy has evolved, and I’ve had to get honest about what still feels aligned and what doesn’t.

We talk about recognising when you’ve outgrown certain environments, raising your standards, and creating space to think clearly again.

If things have been feeling a little off, this is your reminder that growth doesn’t always mean doing more. Sometimes it’s about pulling back, getting clear, and making different decisions.

If you’re ready for deeper conversations and more aligned growth, you know where to find me.

  • Why Human Connection Matters More Than Ever in Your Studio Right Now
    Mar 31 2026

Things feel a little different right now. Parents are asking more questions, decisions feel slower, and there’s a sense of hesitation that wasn’t there before. It’s not necessarily a problem, but it is a shift.

In this episode, I talk about why human connection matters more than ever in your studio right now and why this is not the time to do more, but to be more intentional with how you show up for your families and your students.

We look at what’s actually happening behind the scenes, how families are making decisions in the current climate, and why connection is the thing that keeps them staying, even when things feel tight. I also break down what connection actually looks like day to day inside your studio, and where many studio owners unintentionally miss it by focusing too heavily on programs and systems without building consistency around relationships.

This episode will give you a simple, practical way to think about connection in your studio, including small actions you can implement immediately such as check-ins, missed class messages, and creating more intentional moments with your students and families.

If things feel a little uncertain right now, this is your reminder that you don’t need to overhaul your studio. You just need to be more consistent and intentional with the way you connect.

  • What Do Our Parents Really Want From Us?
    Mar 24 2026

This episode sits underneath everything I’ve been teaching this month about studio growth, enrolments, refinement and leadership.

Because when I speak to studio owners about stepping into their next level, the same three objections surface:

    Time. Money. Trust.

    And here’s what’s fascinating.

They’re the exact same objections your potential dance families have when they enquire with you.

In this episode of Dance Studio Scaled, I unpack the psychology behind decision-making in business and enrolment growth, and why leadership requires you to see both sides clearly.

    We talk about:

    • Why parents are really asking about belonging, safety and value

    • How you build trust through structure, consistency and standards

    • Why growth does not happen in spare time, it happens in intentional time

    • The difference between cost and long-term value

    • How isolation, decision fatigue and overconsumption keep studio owners stuck
If you’re questioning whether now is the right time to invest in your studio growth, this conversation will challenge and steady you.

The objections are not barriers. They are invitations for leadership.

Whether it’s enrolment strategy, retention systems, team alignment or stepping into CEO mode properly, sustainable scale requires structure, proximity and the right conversations.

  • If Enrolments Are Lower Than You’d Like, Here’s Exactly What I’d Do
    Mar 17 2026

If your dance studio enrolments are lower than you expected this term, this episode is a practical reset.

March is clarity month. The energy has settled. The numbers are now telling you something. Instead of reacting emotionally, I walk you through exactly what I would do if I were sitting in your chair.

Not hype. Not random internet advice. Real strategy.

    Here’s the order I’d follow:

    1. Define the Real Gap

How many students down are you? What does that mean in revenue? Which age groups or classes are affected? “We’re down” is a feeling. Clarity creates direction.

    2. Check Retention Before Chasing More Leads

Before increasing marketing, I’d assess re-enrolment, onboarding, early-term check-ins and class stability. Stabilise before you scale.

    3. Activate Mid-Term Momentum Many families commit around Weeks 5–6 once school routines settle. A structured short-term pass, clear messaging and confident integration can convert this second window.

    4. Refine Conversion Before Spending on Ads

If your trial-to-enrolment rate is under 60 percent, I wouldn’t increase ad spend. I’d tighten enquiry response time, follow-up, trial experience and next-step clarity.

    5. Strengthen Team Energy

Parents feel leadership. I’d re-align teacher expectations, communication tone and studio culture. Growth follows stability.

    6. Set a 30-Day Focus One number. One timeframe. One strategy. Close the gap calmly instead of trying to fix the whole year.

What I would not do: Panic discount. Add five new programs. Reshuffle the timetable mid-term. Copy someone else’s promotion.

Enrolment dips are rarely just a marketing problem. They’re a systems, retention and leadership clarity signal.

When foundations are strong, dips become adjustments, not emergencies.

  • 5 Things That Are Actually Working Right Now for Studio Growth
    Mar 10 2026

If you’re heading into Week 5 of Term 1 and questioning your enrolment numbers, this episode will ground you.

    January is optimism.

    February is adjustment.

    March is clarity.

In this episode of Dance Studio Scaled, I share the five things I’m seeing work right now for sustainable dance studio growth. These are not trends or hype. They’re patterns from real studios, real data and real conversations.

    Here’s what’s actually working:

    1. Mid-Term Momentum Families are committing in Weeks 5–6 once school settles. Structured mid-term trial offers and well-timed messaging are converting.

    2. Clear Parent Education Studios explaining progression, structure and long-term development are retaining better. When parents understand the journey, they stay.

    3. Calm Leadership Non-reactive, data-led decisions build trust. Panic and discounting do not.

    4. Refinement Over Reinvention Improving trials, onboarding, communication and classroom experience is outperforming constant new launches.

    5. Data Clarity Studios that know their retention, conversion and revenue numbers are calmer and more strategic.

What’s working right now isn’t flashy. It’s measured. It’s sustainable.

If your numbers feel lower than expected, I’ve created a short guide with three practical strategies you can implement immediately to increase enrolments.
