    Jul 4 2026

After tragedy claims the life of his imprisoned twin brother, a determined researcher volunteers to spend two weeks in complete isolation inside an underground bunker, convinced he can revolutionize the treatment of solitary confinement through an experimental system of colored lights. But as silence stretches into madness and the darkness begins to take on a life of its own, every scientific certainty starts to unravel. In this latest episode, Michael Paige delivers a masterclass in psychological horror that steadily escalates from quiet unease to overwhelming dread, asking a terrifying question: what if the things we fear in the dark aren't created by our minds at all?

This week on Drew Blood's Dark Tales, we venture into the frozen wilderness, where an ambitious archaeological expedition uncovers evidence of a civilization long erased from history—and something far older waiting beneath the ice. As isolation gives way to obsession, every discovery raises new questions about the past, the nature of evil, and the unimaginable horrors that time itself has struggled to contain. Atmospheric, unsettling, and relentlessly suspenseful, this tribute to Richard Morgan is a haunting descent into ancient darkness that proves some things are buried for a reason.

So I discovered CTfDN a few years ago and started exploring the other channels, soon found DB.
Obviously he has a great voice for creepy horror and recognises a good story, you can find pretty much any kind of story and varying lengths to suit the occasion.
I’m now signed up as a patron so listen through the website but felt a review was in order anyway.
For some reason none of the talent that sits under CTfDN seems to be as popular as it should be.

If you really are a horror fan please go check out Drew and Chester 🐊

One of my favourite narrators. A voice as smooth as a Tennessee whisky. Keep up the good work fella!
