Pacey, interesting, well-told, personal yet resonated with me. Sad and funny in equal measures. Would highly recommend.

This is well worth a listen. I was impressed with how much of the original conversation was captured on audio for the podcast. I liked hearing all sides of the story. A couple of times I felt more detail would’ve been welcomed but overall a very sad and interesting story.

Engaging

It is such a relatable story. All the players point of view shows the tapestry silence weaves in generations when buried trauma finally comes to the surface!
Lilian’s summary that her trauma “was like a “disability” you learn to live with “! Hindsight is a 20/20 view. Despite these revelations each character carries their individual trauma to forward generations. History does nothing to teach a lesson it seems. The soul damage seems to gain little relief to each person they seem permanently “ disabled” by their experiences.

Echo of generational trauma!
