Nice story set in vintage time, the american golden age. The author piles one misery after another on our heroes. Unimaginable to get out of that, and than even more cards are dealt against them.

totally amusing.

Very well told story, incredible pacing and overall well packaged. Audible owes a night’s sleep as I binged it the other night, didn’t realise it was morning after I was done!

Really enjoyed this story

This was more than what I was hoping for, which I can only describe as a movie for the ears.

The way the story is written really transfers you into the movie theatre, which happens to have a Dolby surround set with proper bass which delivers the effects perfectly, and you don't regret a minute of it.

Or I'm really new to this and easily pleased, but I enjoyed it very much!
