Loved this! Very engaging and great to listen on a long walk or before bed.

Great

A fantastic, yet terribly sad story about men just trying to survive, both in working hard to support themselves and their families, but also surviving an horrific tragedy. Well told, with sincerity and honesty. The shipping company and its benefactors should be held to account

Best podcast ever

Such a harrowing story but filled with bravery and heroism.
Much respect to everyone who took part and spoke so honestly about their experience.

Gripping!

Superbly researched and produced. Atmospheric and totally engaging. Wonderfully structured, polished narration and compelling listening. In places, deeply moving especially some of the US coastguards recollections of endeavouring to be the last hope to the survivors. An outstanding listen. Exceptional work by Sean Flynn and hugely recommended. Don’t overlook it.

Just excellent from start to finish

An incredible account, of the heroic rescuers, who put their lives at risk to save fishermen after the sinking of their ship. Also, the accounts of the tough survivors and their stories.

A brilliant account of a true story
