The Battle of Stalingrad was a turning point that saw the Red Army inflict the first major defeat on Hitler and give the world hope. I have stopped listening to this podcast in protest when one of the presenters referred to the statue remembering the Soviet sacrifice in Stalingrad as "hideous propaganda".
