Producer George gives a rating to the team for their effort during the week, but they are more concerned that he is home alone for a month. Leisel received a text message invitation to a 50th birthday party in Victoria, from a number she doesn't know. The only logical option? Call the number and get to the bottom of the invitation! Origin night at the Bellagio is starting to make everyone nervous and what better way to calm the nerves than invite some people who have racked up damage bills in the past. One bloke even scores an invite after telling the story of how he accidentally burned the top story of a pub down...Gold Coast 3-code sporting superstar Teagan Levi is in studio before the Titans NRLW season kicks off this weekend. A true Gold Coast product, Teagan was drafted to the Suns AFLW team, played Rugby 7's for Australia at the Olympics & now is taking to the NRLW competition. Why not?! Leisel went to Katherine on the weekend for the first time since she was born there 40 years ago. She has a whinge about the accommodation, but more so about the sign on the entre to town. This comes off the back off Liam finding the LAST meatball Chupa Chupp at IKEA yesterday. It was a disgusting collaboration and made worse by everyone having to taste the same lollipop. Producer George gets stitched up with the final lick. Tyla calls in to tell Leisel there is love to be found when exercising. She met her hubby at Muay Thai and asked him out. Never looked back! Finally, with the Socceroos game inbound, we hear from people who have been at major life events but have been distracted with one eye on the TV. What could you throw further- a naan bread or a baguette? The team is split on this with Leisel and Spida going naan & Liam and George thinking baguette. Leisel is back on deck and goes into DETAIL about her unprepped, un-sedated colonoscopy. The calls come in from the Gold Coast, talking about the procedures they have had while awake! It makes Leisel feel a bit better about her hospital stay. Spida Sprays farmer’s markets, thinking that they are full of wannabes and influencers, without a farmer in sight. Producer George has started making sourdough and Spida think it’s a huge waste of time. Spida feels the same about when he is cooking, but Liam thinks those jobs are not a waste - like making your bed and mowing the lawn. George thinks the beautiful things are not about using time efficiently - it’s about the love and care that goes into it. Leisel joins the show from the Gold Coast University Hospital! She is all good but has needed to stay in for scanning. Great to hear her voice and get some reassurance! Loosely Related is back, with the Queen, Elvis and Bob Marley’s family call in to the show!
