  • 63: THE MIDNIGHT CLUB - Episode 4: "Gimme A Kiss"
    Apr 2 2026

This week, Sandra steps into the limelight as we watch and discuss episode 4 of Mike Flanagan and Leah Fong's The Midnight Club: "Gimme a Kiss!" Sandra's story is a silly, clunky genre treat and we absolutely loved it to death.

Discussion Question: Favorite backgrounded romance plotline?

Next week, The Midnight Club continues with Episode 5: "See You Later."

  • A Conversation with Kate Siegel
    Mar 30 2026

Hey friends! Holy crap, we got to talk to Kate Siegel. Last week, Kate basically demanded that we sit down with her and chat, and we, of course, immediately complied. We talked all about Kate's previous Flanagan roles, her philosophy on acting, and her sitting down in the director's chair. We also asked what her favorite non-Flanagan role was, which featured me staring blankly like an idiot because I hadn't seen her answer.

I feel like it goes without saying that Kate was gracious, clever, and absolutely fascinating. There were times when I just forgot to ask a question because I was just enjoying listening to her talk. Maybe we'll get good at the interview thing eventually.

Thanks again to Kate Siegel for making time for our show!

We'll be back at it on Thursday with more The Midnight Club!

  • 62: THE MIDNIGHT CLUB - Episode 3: "The Wicked Heart"
    Mar 26 2026

This week, The Midnight Club serves up it's best episode yet as we spend some quality time with Kevin in episode 3: "The Wicked Heart." Kevin begins his multipart story about a secret serial killer with mommy issues as family day brings those issues to Brightcliff. Director Michael Fimognari takes the reins in this one, and boy, does this episode look good.

Discussion Question: What is your favorite fictional serial killer story?

Next week, The Midnight Club continues with Episode 4: "Gimme a Kiss!"

I joined the lads with Kingslingers and followed them into their newest project Flanagan's Wake. I love listening along with them as they work through Mr F's output, as I've only seen his Stephen King-based projects.
It is a very insightful and well-researched podcast that walks the line of funny and serious very well.
You are smashing it!
