  • It’s time for a commercial break
    Mar 25 2026

The run-in is hotting up and Man City have defeated Arsenal to win the first trophy of the season. We’re now perched on the edge of our seats, desperate to see how this will affect the ongoing title race – *Premier League cuts to break*. FFS.

We might all – well, maybe not Spellz – be yearning for some more Premier League action. But don’t worry, because Marcus, Luke and Pete are here to review the current state of play heading into the season finale. Plus, we react to the news that Mo Salah, a true Premier League great, will leave Liverpool at the end of the season.

  • Mailbag: Would a Spurs relegation be good or bad for the Premier League?
    Mar 24 2026

After their damning loss to Forest, Marcus, Jim and Pete are forced to tackle this one straight from the off: would it be a good or bad thing for the Premier League if Spurs go down? Imagine that alternative reality where they’d have the money-soaked pleasure of getting slapped by Real Madrid and Bayern Munich every week.

Plus, the changing nature of managerial pressure, our criteria for choosing overseas teams to support and re-recording We Didn’t Start the Fire featuring some Ramble highlights - some of which would definitely make the song libellous and unbroadcastable.

Arguably the best football podcast put there, forget all the glitz and glimmer of the sky sports podcasts and listen to these guys! No nonsense opinions and top banter.

Funny and informative football podcast. Good length as well at 45 mins , some football podcasts are too long at well over an hour. Has a variety of speakers which rotate so is always different.

I've been listening to the Ramble since 2010 and they continue to provide an entertaining but also well informed view of the world football. The jokes, coupled with different lineups each episode mean while there is familiarity each pod isn't the same.

My only negative is that despite listening (and emailing in) for almost 15 years, seeing 3 live shows and meeting the lads, I've still yet to get official friend of the ramble status. Howay lads!

I've been listening since 2010 and the team provide a very enjoyable football podcast at no cost to me. Lots of laughs, with occasional football content.

If Luke could stop interrupting people, it would be even better.

P.S. Southampton are a bigger club than Portsmouth.
