In chapter 3, Jesus has a powerful conversation with Nicodemus, explaining the need to be “born again” and sharing the well-known truth that God’s love offers salvation to all who believe.

Chapter 4 continues with Jesus’ encounter with the Samaritan woman at the well, where He breaks cultural barriers and offers “living water” that satisfies the soul. Through this interaction, Jesus shows that true worship is not about location, but about worshiping in spirit and truth.

In this episode, we read Luke chapters 23 and 24, bringing the Gospel of Luke to its powerful conclusion. These chapters recount the crucifixion, death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus — the foundation of the Christian faith.

We see Jesus endure suffering and rejection as He is sentenced and crucified, yet even on the cross He shows mercy, forgiveness, and compassion. But the story does not end in sorrow. On the third day, the tomb is found empty, and Jesus rises from the dead, appearing to His followers and revealing that He has conquered sin and death.

Luke 23–24 reminds us that through Jesus’ sacrifice and resurrection, hope, redemption, and new life are available to all who believe, and it calls us to live in the power and purpose of that truth.

In this episode, we read Luke chapters 14 through 16, where Jesus teaches about humility, commitment, and the true cost of following Him. He challenges pride and self-centered living, encouraging His followers to choose humility and to value what God values rather than seeking status or recognition.

Through powerful parables — including the great banquet, the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the prodigal son — Jesus reveals God’s heart for the lost and His joy in restoration. He also teaches about stewardship and the proper use of worldly resources, reminding us that faithfulness in small things reflects the condition of our hearts.

Luke 14–16 calls us to examine our priorities, live with humility, and embrace the grace of God, knowing that He actively seeks, restores, and rejoices over those who turn back to Him.
