The Golden Knights dominated early, scoring three first-period goals on their way to a convincing 5-1 victory over the Anaheim Ducks in Game 6 at Honda Center. Pavel Dorofeyev led the charge with two third-period goals, while Mitch Marner and Shea Theodore each added a goal and an assist. With the series-clinching win, Vegas advances to the Western Conference Final for the fourth time in seven seasons, where they’ll face the Colorado Avalanche.
Meanwhile in the East, the Montreal Canadiens took control of their second-round series with a high-scoring 6-3 win over the Buffalo Sabres at KeyBank Center. Nick Suzuki starred with a goal and two assists as Montreal grabbed a 3-2 series lead heading into Game 6 at the Bell Centre.
