Humble beginnings didn't stop the bigger dreams of this gentleman. Growing up in the coal mine region in a small town named Nanticoke, Pennsylvania, his sites were set on becoming a priest. Through a series of early jobs and military experience, he came to realize his passion for teaching. As his career advanced he decided to apply his knowledge and people skills to help students navigate high school and choose their path into postsecondary opportunities.

This was a very special episode for me. This is my Dad, my mentor and my personal Guidance Counselor. Thanks Dad, I love you!
