Machu Picchu rises high in the Peruvian Andes, where stone ruins sit between steep peaks and thick mist, giving the place a strange and almost unreal feeling.

It was built by the Inca in the 15th century and later remained hidden from the outside world until Hiram Bingham was led there in 1911.

Because the site was never found by the Spanish and stayed preserved for so long, it has become surrounded by mystery and speculation.

Its temples, terraces, and careful stonework still make people wonder how such a complex city was built in such a remote place.

Even today, Machu Picchu feels less like a ruin and more like a place that was meant to keep its secrets.

The Great Pyramid of Khufu in Giza is one of the most impressive structures in history, known for its almost perfect alignment with the cardinal directions and the millimeter-level precision of its construction. It was built around 2560 BC by workers serving the pharaoh Khufu, using ramps, sledges, and careful measuring methods based on the positions of the sun and the stars.

Some researchers argue that the knowledge and engineering skills of the ancient Egyptians were entirely sufficient to construct the pyramid. Alternative theories, however, speculate about extraterrestrial involvement or the existence of a lost civilization. Modern discoveries, such as the Wadi al-Jarf papyri, strengthen the evidence that the pyramid was built by a well-organized workforce rather than through supernatural means.

Despite this, the pyramids remain a symbol of both human achievement and enduring mystery, continuing to fascinate and inspire people around the world.
