DSB Questions

1. If you had to sum up Ephesians in one sentence to someone who'd never read it, what would you say?
2. Which single verse or passage from the whole series has stayed with you the most – and why do you think that one stuck?
3. Ephesians moves from doctrine (ch 1-3, what God has done) to duty (ch 4-6, who we now are). Where have you noticed that shift happening in your own life this year – head knowledge becoming lived-out change?
4. The letter describes one new humanity made of Jew and Gentile, a body, a household, a temple, an army. Which of those pictures of the church has shaped how you see CCCH most?
5. Paul ends with a person (Tychicus), not a final command. What does that tell us about what mattered most to him?
6. Who has been a "Tychicus" to you – a faithful, reliable partner in your walk with Jesus – and have you told them?
7. "Grace be with all who love our Lord Jesus Christ with love incorruptible." What would it look like for your love for Jesus to be "incorruptible" or “un-decaying” over the next year?
8. As a group, what is one thing Ephesians has called us to that we should keep doing together, even though the series is ending?
9. What's one truth from this letter you want to be able to say, honestly, that you actually lived differently because of?
