About this listen

The go-to podcast for Christian women who are ready to heal their hearts, shed their shame, and come home to freedom in Christ.
Ranked Top 2.5% Globally

Do you ever wish someone would truly see you, not look past you or through you?
Are you lying awake at night wondering if your marriage can survive infidelity...or if it’s time to let go?
Are you exhausted from Googling answers, trying to fix things, and still feeling unheard, unseen, and stuck in shame

You’re not alone. And you’re in the right place.

This podcast is a sacred, steady space for women navigating betrayal, emotional disconnection, separation, or the aftermath of an affair, who want more than surface-level faith answers. Here, we talk honestly about the heart, the body, the soul, and the brain, and what it actually looks like to let Jesus heal what’s been wounded.

I’m so glad you’re here.

I’m Kristina Joy, forgiven daughter of Jesus, mom, and coach. For years, I tried to break free from my own infidelity through sheer willpower, "doing more," and striving to be better. I read my Bible more. I tried to behave my way into freedom. None of it worked.

Everything changed when I stopped trying to fix myself and allowed Jesus to meet me in the deeper places like my pain, my patterns, my unmet needs. Through prayer, research, embodied healing practices, and new rhythms of truth and grace, I discovered real freedom. Not just from the affair, but from shame, secrecy, and self-abandonment.

On this podcast, you’ll find:

  • A reminder that your dignity, worth, and identity are not up for debate
  • Emotional and nervous-system awareness for real transformation
  • Coaching guidance for clarity, boundaries, communication, and trust
  • Gentle truth for women deciding what restoration actually means for them

Whether your marriage is being rebuilt or released, you are allowed to heal. You are allowed to choose freedom. You are allowed to become whole.

If you’re ready to:
Stop living in secrecy and self-condemnation
Experience God’s love without fear or striving
Break familiar patterns for good
Live with clarity, strength, dignity, and peace

Then take a breath, find your safe space, and press play.
This is where healing begins and where you come home to yourself, with Jesus.

  • 111 | When you can’t break the affair cycle- even after you confessed
    Apr 9 2026

Healing can feel unexpectedly lonely once the crisis passes and life returns to “normal.” Today, I talk honestly about the quiet middle season of recovery. When you’re functioning again but still healing, still tender, and wondering who you’re supposed to talk to now.

I share my own experience of navigating that loneliness, why healing doesn’t end after things change, and why community is essential (not optional!) in this season.

    We explore:

    • Why some women continue returning to an affair partner even after confession
    • The role shame and self-pressure play in keeping women stuck
    • Why traditional advice often focuses on the mind while ignoring emotional and nervous-system connection
    • The power of hearing “me too” from someone who understands your story
    • Why honest connection with safe people can be the turning point in healing

If you’re the woman who never thought this would be part of your story, but you’re still trying to find your way forward, you don’t have to carry this alone. There is a path to freedom, and it begins with compassion, honesty, and safe community. You’re not meant to heal alone, and you don’t have to anymore 🤍

  • 110 | Do I need STD testing after infidelity? The conversation no one is having
    Apr 7 2026

Healing can feel unexpectedly lonely once the crisis passes and life returns to “normal.” Today, I talk honestly about a part of affair recovery that almost no one is addressing- the physical realities. Including whether STD testing is something you should consider.

We often focus on the emotional, spiritual, and relational healing...but what about your physical health? This episode gently explores that question with compassion, honesty, and wisdom.

I share my own experience of a wake-up moment that made the physical consequences feel very real, the emotions that can come up around this topic, and how to approach it without shame or fear.

We explore: - Why STD testing can feel overwhelming or triggering - The shame, denial, and avoidance many women experience around this topic - Why avoiding the question doesn’t protect you—but clarity can - How to approach this with wisdom, not fear - How to hold the tension between God’s grace and real-life consequences - What it looks like to invite God into even the most uncomfortable decisions

If you’ve been avoiding this question or feeling unsure what to do next, this episode will help you take a grounded, compassionate step forward 🤍

  • 109 | Not fair! Do women who cheat get shame while men get a pass?
    Mar 31 2026

Healing can feel unexpectedly lonely once the crisis passes and life returns to “normal.” Today, I talk honestly about a deeper layer many women experience but rarely say out loud: the double standard in affair recovery, and why it often feels like women carry the weight of shame while men are given more space to “struggle.”

I share my own experience of searching for resources and finding none, the internal shame that filled that silence, and why so many women feel unseen in this journey.

    We explore:

    - Why women often carry more visible shame after an affair - The gap in resources for women navigating their own betrayal story - How shame keeps women silent and reinforces the feeling of isolation - Why the Church and culture haven’t always known how to hold women in this well - How we begin to shift the culture by becoming safe, honest, connected women

If you’ve ever felt like you’re the only one- you’re not. And you don’t have to carry this alone anymore 🤍
