Morry Frenkel speaks with Jeremy Suss, President of the Australasian Union of Jewish Students (AUJS) about the level of on-campus antisemitism over the past six months and gives some highlights of his recent trip to the USA to attend the annual American Jewish Committee Global Forum as the representative of Australian Jewish university students. Jeremy talks about the forum and his meeting at the Office of the United States Special Envoy to Monitor and Combat Antisemitism, where student union representatives from across the globe described closely following the proceedings of our Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion. Jeremy also details the value of his visit to the Australian Embassy in Washington, DC. Finally, he discusses the ways in which positive engagements with university administrations established by other attendees could be applied here.
