I've been having fun listening to these stories. The narrator uses a lot of Hebrew and Yiddish terminology, some of which you can guess from context but not all terms are explained, so if you are listening with actual children you may need to be on hand to look things up.

The stories are definitely something a bit different from the usual folk tales, and unsurprisingly there is a religious dimension to a lot of them although the stories themselves are not religious . Well worth a listen as the plotlines are perhaps more suited to our modern lives.

I'm not Jewish but did get a lot of benefit from listening.
