So, Madeline Smith of San Clemente created an organization called OC Sober Gals, where women can get together and connect, without the pressure or temptation of a drink. ​Imagine taking a boat trip, celebrating a Galentine's Night, visiting a TV game show and more!     LAPD Officer David Marroquin used his alertness and basic first responder training to save the life of a colleague! He noticed the man struggling to breath, choking on some food. With urgency and skill, Officer Marroquin administered the Heimlich maneuver and within moments, the man started breathing again. He believes anyone in that situation would have helped out like he did, and reminds us that we all can be ready for situations like this!
