• Should Counsellors Stay Silent? My Massive Facebook Pile-On
    Jun 22 2026

My weekend went completely wild on social media after I shared my unfiltered thoughts regarding public events, safeguarding, and women's rights. Before I knew it, activist groups targeted my page in a coordinated pile-on, demanding that I be reported and denounced to professional bodies like the NCPS.

In this video, I’m reading the exact comments left by the bullies and laying it all out. As a counsellor, I keep my personal politics entirely out of the therapy room—my clients always get 100% focused, professional support. But outside of work, I refuse to censor my voice or be intimidated by institutional pressure when it comes to whistleblowing on crucial safeguarding issues and defending sex-based realities.

Watch to see the reality of what happened, and let me know your thoughts in the comments: Should professionals keep their mouths shut, or use their voices to speak out?

  • Arrested for Defending Myself: The Hidden Traumas After the Violence
    Jun 19 2026

What happens after you leave an abusive relationship? For successful journalist and PR executive Louise Greene, escaping an attempted murder by her ex-partner was only the beginning of a decades-long cycle of trauma, systemic betrayal, and institutional failure.

In this raw and deeply moving conversation, Louise joins host Kelly Oliver Dougall to share her harrowing journey. She reveals how she was wrongfully arrested and criminalized by the police for simply defending her own life—a shocking reality shared by many domestic violence survivors. Louise opens up about the devastating aftermath: losing her home, surviving homelessness, suffering a hypoxic brain injury after a suicide attempt, battling severe alcoholism, and eventually serving seven months in prison for fraud.

Now over five years sober, Louise has completely rebuilt her life. She is using her lived experience to advocate for change, writing her memoir From Vogue to Jail, and creating crucial guidebooks to educate young girls and boys on healthy relationships. This episode is a powerful look at the statistics of women in prison, the reality of cyberstalking, and why society needs to trade judgment for deep compassion.

This episode contains detailed discussions of domestic violence, physical assault, cyberstalking, and suicide. Listener discretion is advised.

  • A Trans Widow’s Bill of Rights: Setting Boundaries After Disclosure
    Jun 10 2026

When a spouse discloses a trans identity, women are often expected to rewrite their own reality, preferences, and boundaries overnight.

In this video, I share "A Trans Widow’s Bill of Rights," written by Helena Fitzgibbons (2026). This powerful 18-point document outlines the fundamental rights and boundaries you are allowed to set regarding your emotions, finances, sexuality, and parental identity after disclosure. You are not obligated to change who you are, and your grief, anger, and boundaries are entirely valid.

  • "I was dying inside" — My Journey Out of a Coercive Cult
    Jun 6 2026

What happens when the only community you’ve ever known demands you sacrifice your true self to stay?

In this powerful episode, we are joined by Sarah Seed, a purpose mentor and founder of Her Soul Purpose Academy. Sarah shares her incredible and deeply moving journey of being raised inside a coercive, male-dominated cult, navigating an expected marriage at 19, and making the terrifying decision to walk away at age 22—knowing she would lose everything and everyone she loved overnight.

Sarah opens up about the raw realities of "ambiguous loss" (grieving family members who are still alive but choose not to be there), overcoming an abandonment wound, and the tragic loss of her brother to the trauma of being cast out.

Now a solo mum of two, Sarah has dedicated her life to breaking generational cycles. She shares how she found safety within herself and how she now guides highly sensitive women, empaths, and lightworkers to uncover their true soul's purpose without the masculine "hustle and grind."

  • Why 80% of Couples Survive Affairs (And the Truth About Relationship Power Dynamics)
    May 30 2026

In this episode, Kelly Oliver Dougall is joined by Vanessa Cushing, an AASECT-certified sex therapist and private practice owner, to unpack the complex realities of intimacy, desire, and betrayal.

Vanessa busts common misconceptions about sex therapy and dives into "desire discrepancy"—explaining how couples get stuck in a multi-year blame cycle and how to move back into a team approach.

We also explore the heavy reality of betrayal trauma and affairs. Vanessa shares a surprising statistic: around 80% of couples actually stay together after an affair by making meaning out of the trauma and addressing the disconnection that happened before the betrayal.

Finally, Kelly and Vanessa discuss the specific, often catastrophic dynamics faced by trans widows, including the devastating impact of coercive control, manipulation, and shifting power dynamics within relationships. Turn on notifications so you never miss an episode filled with deep therapeutic insights, reframing perspectives, and the messy but necessary work of "weeding the garden" of our minds.

  • Why I’ve Been Quiet: Health, Backlash, and Standing My Ground
    May 28 2026

Hello everyone. I wanted to share a quick update to let you know what's been going on with me this week, why I haven't been online, and where things stand with my health and my ongoing small claims case.

In this video, I talk about:

    • Health & Fatigue: Dealing with low B12, a recent fall in the street, and why I am having to pace myself and adjust my diary right now.

    • The Small Claims Case: We are currently waiting for a hearing date. I explain the reality behind their "public protection" defence and why their refusal to hand over my Subject Access Request (SAR) data doesn't hold up, especially since the complaints did not even meet their own threshold for investigation.

    • Online Backlash & Free Speech: Addressing the ongoing targeting from activists on Instagram and the Counselling Directory, and why it is vital to stand up for our protected beliefs and professional rights.

It is business as usual, but things are moving a little slower than normal while I recover, so please bear with me if I am slow to reply to messages and comments. Thank you all so much for your continued support—it means the world. Let me know how you are all doing in the comments below!
