    ★☆☆☆☆ — "Would NOT recommend. Avoid this hostel." Came in with high hopes. Reviews said friendly staff, beautiful women, unforgettable stay. The first two were true, I'll give them that. "Unforgettable" was also accurate, just not how I pictured it. The amenities are not for the guests. You ARE the amenity. 0/10, lost some friends, possibly some fingers. That's the Hostel experience in a nutshell. Eli Roth's 2005 gut-punch took the backpacking fantasy and turned it into the ugliest transaction in Europe, the cornerstone of the early-2000s torture wave and a nastier movie about money and disposability than anyone admits.
