The land didn’t want to be entered that day. Troll energy — dense, old, watchful — rose from the earth like a guardian saying “not yet.” I’ll unpack how that encounter felt in my body, what it revealed about listening to cues, and how we should all listen to the spirits of a place rather than pushing against them.

This is a story about what happens when the Earth speaks clearly… and we learn to listen.
