After getting a 9-game tryout, it was clear Harrison Brunicke wasn’t quite ready for full-time action in the NHL, but will he be this year? Hunter and Patrick begin the show by continuing their season-in-review series, this time focusing on Brunicke. (1:35) He showed some flashes at the NHL level in nine games, but ultimately wasn’t ready for the big time. After success at the junior and AHL levels, it’s time for him to take the next step. Then, the QMJHL’s Defenseman of the Year, Tommy Bleyl, could be available at 22 for the Penguins in about a week, so should he be the pick? (15:00) They dive into one of the more exciting prospects at this year’s draft. Finally, Taylor Gauthier re-signed this week to a one-year deal, and the ECHL standout will look to take the leap to the AHL next season. (25:30)
