MPP David Smith rose in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario to share the experiences of those working in our community’s long-term care facilities, including directors, PSWs and nurses – all of whom, under Ontario’s leadership of Premier Doug Ford, are doing a great job taking care of our seniors.
In this Member’s Statement, MPP Smith shares his recent visits to several homes, including Wexford Residence, Alexis Lodge, Hellenic Home for the Aged, Kennedy Lodge Long-Term-Care and Bendale Acres Long-Term Care Home.
“I’ve seen first-hand the dedication of staff who go above and beyond to ensure our seniors are treated with dignity, care and respect," explained MPP Smith.
