For the second series in the row, the Minnesota Twins take two of three, this time against the visiting Miami Marlins at Target Field. Sandwiched around another poor start from SWR were two excellent starts (and wins) by Bailey Ober and Zebby Matthews, each of whom draw praise from Dan and David. David chronicles the letdown of an evening it was for Minnesota sports fans on Wednesday, but he's in complete support of the decision to demote Matt Wallner. Dan is still waiting for Kaelen Culpepper's call-up, even as he continues to see Royce Lewis through rose-colored glasses. Thanks for listening, and go Twins!

In a season when it doesn't seem as likely to matter, the Minnesota Twins accomplished something rare this weekend in taking two of three games in Cleveland against the Guardians. Hoges joins Dan to discuss the series, which featured three close games and the Twins bullpen holding its own against the Guardians. Dan doesn't like the call to send down Kody Funderburk, and Hoges brainstorms some solutions for helping Matt Wallner out of his slump. After a promising Game 1, the Minnesota Twins lose a series at Nationals Park, making David's May 10 check-in date a doomed one: The Twins will not be at .500 when that day comes and goes.
