Mark Sutton is one of the most respected photographers from the world of Formula 1.

He's a guy who’s spent decades, right in the heart of the F1 paddock, capturing some of the sport’s most iconic moments through his lens.

From world championship celebrations, and fast cars, to the quieter, human moments behind the scenes, his images have helped define how generations of racing fans have experienced Formula 1 and motorsport more broadly.

His work has appeared in publications around the world, and many of his photographs have become some of the most recognisable in motorsport.

He’s covered a whopping 640 Grands Prix events, and even in 2026, he’s still right there trackside to capture some of the most powerful images in Formula 1.

Mark Sutton joins us on 'The Podium' to reflect on his incredible career in photography. He also shares with us a number of stories about some of the iconic drivers and celebrities he has met over the years, and gives his advice to aspiring photographers looking to follow in his footsteps.
