    Easter Sunday Worship Service 2026 | "He has Been Raised" | Marsh Chapel at Boston University

    Join us for the Easter Sunday Festival Service of Word and Sacrament from Marsh Chapel at Boston University. The Rev. Dr. Robert Allan Hill preaches on Matthew 28:1–10, "He has Been Raised," celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

    The Marsh Chapel Choir, directed by Dr. Scott Allen Jarrett, performs Daniel Moe's "If ye then be risen," Ralph Vaughan Williams' "Hail thee, festival day," and the triumphant "Worthy is the Lamb" from Handel's Messiah. The service features brass quintet Majestic Brass, organist Justin Thomas Blackwell, and the Festival Eucharist with Holy Communion.

    Hymns include "Christ the Lord Is Risen Today," "Thine Be the Glory," and "Christ Is Alive!" Scripture readings: Acts 10:34–43, Colossians 3:1–4, Psalm 118, and Matthew 28:1–10.
