Michael Clayton is an LSU all-time great and without question one of the most important recruits in Tigers' history. The Baton Rouge native and former Christian Life star was pivotal in turning around the LSU program under former head coach Nick Saban, as the Tigers won the 2003 BCS national championship, along with SEC titles in 2001 and in 2003. Clayton finished with 182 career receptions, just one short of Wendell Davis' all-time record of 183. He was a first team All-SEC selection and made several All-American teams as well. Clayton enjoyed an 8-year career in the NFL, winning a Super Bowl with the New York Giants in 2011.
