Summary
Join me for a calming walk, along the banks of the River Tamar in Mount Edgcumbe Country Park, South East Cornwall.
Looking out across the salty tidal waters that divide the counties of Devon and Cornwall, to view Mutton cove, Mount wise, The Royal William Yard (Plymouth) and Drakes Island.
We can explore the shoreline, hidden slipway and vaulted garden battery; then walk across the gravel path to the picnic lawn and shingle/pebble cove at barn pool, where we can try our hand at skimming stones across the clement waters.
