Welcome back to the fort! In this episode Roo and Aimee discuss the dangers of doing something as simple as walking the dog. Roo shares the harrowing tale of a recent fall that resulted in spilled coffee, wounded pride, and a body that is apparently no longer built for sudden contact with the pavement. She insists she’s fine but also may never emotionally recover from losing the coffee.

Meanwhile, Aimee grapples with a very modern dilemma: wanting to talk about the Bad Bunny halftime show with her non-white friends but also not wanting to be the well-meaning white lady who turns someone’s group chat into a cultural anthropology discussion. She debates whether asking thoughtful questions is allyship or just deeply awkward.
